1. Information We Collect
1.1 Photos and Videos
We only upload a photo or video to the cloud for processing when you actively select it for editing in FixRight. Materials are encrypted with a local key stored on your device, and all metadata (e.g., geotags) is deleted by default. For the convenience of re-editing, materials are cached in the cloud for no more than 24~48 hours.
1.2 Usage Information and Device Data
When you use FixRight or our website, we may record the features you use, the time of first installation/launch, language preferences, traffic sources, and other such details. We and our service providers may collect the above information through Cookies, LSOs, local storage, pixels and third-party SDKs.
In addition, we may obtain your device model, system version, push Token, Google/Apple advertising identifier, browser type, screen resolution, IP address and the corresponding city/country, etc. If you subscribe to a membership through the app store, we will only receive a confirmation of successful subscription.
1.3 Contact Information
When you communicate with us via email, we will collect your name, email address and the content of the communication.
2. How We Use Information
2.1 We will not use the photos or videos you upload to FixRight for any purpose other than implementing editing functions.
2.2 Other information may be used to: operate and improve FixRight/website; send you announcements, updates and security alerts; provide customer service and technical support; conduct statistical analysis of usage; display advertisements (with your consent when required by law); and for compliance, anti-fraud and security purposes within the scope of legitimate interests.
2.3 We may create anonymous, aggregated or de-identified data based on legitimate interests and use it for analysis and service optimization of FixRight.
3. Information Sharing
The AI photo retouching function of FixRight is technically supported by the Doubao LLM under Volcano Engine.
When you use the AI photo retouching function of FixRight, we will upload the following data to Volcano Engine after obtaining your explicit authorization and consent:
- Image/photo data uploaded by users
- Retouching parameters and functional operation instructions
- Device model and operating system version (used solely to ensure service compatibility and stability)
The above data is only used to implement AI image processing functions for FixRight and not for any other unauthorized purposes. We promise that Volcano Engine will provide the same or higher level of privacy protection and data security measures for user data.
Except as stated above, we will not disclose your photos/videos to any other third parties, because the encryption key is only stored on your local device.
For other necessary information, we will only share it in the following legitimate scenarios:
- Affiliated companies within the same group;
- Suppliers providing services for FixRight, including server hosting, customer service support, data analysis, email sending, marketing services, etc.;
- Advertising partners (only for ad display and effect statistics; users can withdraw relevant permissions at any time);
- When you actively share content from FixRight to third-party platforms (the privacy policy of such platforms shall apply);
- Professional advisors, including lawyers, accountants, auditors, etc.;
- In the event of corporate mergers, asset transfers, restructuring and other transaction activities;
- When required by laws and regulations, or necessary to protect the legitimate rights and interests of users and FixRight platform.

4. Legal Compliance
We may disclose necessary information to comply with laws, judicial procedures or government requirements, such as responding to subpoenas, investigations or security requests. Since materials are stored encrypted and the key is on the user's device, we cannot disclose the cached photos/videos.
5. Your Choices
- You may turn off push notifications for FixRight in iOS Settings;
- You may revoke permissions for camera, photo album, microphone, etc. for FixRight at any time;
- You may request immediate deletion of cloud cached data in FixRight "Settings - Support";
- You may contact us via email to request access to, copy, correct or delete your personal information, or restrict/object to processing. California residents may entrust an authorized agent, and users in Virginia and other regions may also exercise their rights in accordance with local laws.
6. Other Websites and Third-Party Services
FixRight may contain links to third-party websites or services, and we have no control over their privacy practices. We recommend reading their privacy policies carefully before use.
7. Advertising and Preference Management
We may cooperate with advertising partners to display personalized ads for FixRight based on device and activity information. You may turn off functions such as "Audience Targeting", "Activity-Based" and "Third-Party Ad Networks" in iOS [Settings → Additional Services → Ad Preferences]; you may also enable the system's "Limit Ad Tracking" to opt out of interest-based ads.
We also provide settings such as "Lifestyle and Interests" and "Ad Themes" for FixRight, which you can turn on or off for specific categories in the above menu at any time.
8. Security
We adopt commercially reasonable security measures to protect information of FixRight users, but cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your account and device safe, and contact us in a timely manner if any abnormalities are found.
9. Data Retention
Photos/videos used in FixRight will be deleted within 24~48 hours after the last editing; other information will only be retained for the period necessary to achieve the purposes of this Policy. You may also submit a deletion request at any time.
10. Cross-Border Data Transfer
If it is necessary to transfer data overseas for FixRight services, we will ensure compliance with applicable laws and provide adequate protection through standard contractual clauses, encryption, anonymization and other methods. The technical support team may be located outside your country/region.
11. Children's Protection
FixRight is not intended for minors under the age of 13, and we will not intentionally collect minor's data. If you are under 13 years old, please do not use the service; if you are a guardian, please do not allow minors to use it.
12. Policy Updates
We may update this Policy at any time due to legal, policy or FixRight product needs. In case of major changes, we will publish a notice through the app or website and update the date. Continued use after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new Policy.
